I'm working on getting back to basics with soap making. I'm not sure how far this will go. Right now I use mostly fragrance oils in my soap but I also like using essential oils too. There isn't a huge variety to be had with essential oil scents as there is the fragrance oils. The essential oil scents tend to be either earthy or more of a powerful herb/flower scent. Some girls like their soap scents to be more foo-foo or food-y scented and that's where fragrance oils come in.
I recently had a professional still photographer take pictures of my soaps. Please check out her beautiful and well written blog here: Joan Marie Company I hope you enjoy them.
This is my Cranberry Fig soap made specifically for the Cranberry Festival in Stone Lake, WI. Over 50,000 people attend this event made up of crafters and artisans. This is a sweet yet bitterly sharp fragrance that wins the hearts of many.Cranberry Fig Soap
